Security Personnel Team Member - Part Time

REPORTS TO:          Senior Event Services Manager & Event Services Manager

DEPARTMENT:          Event Services

STATUS:                     Part-Time

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Respond to all security needs and call for services; secure areas of facility for escalated emergency response, if necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service to all patrons and employees
  • Greet all Fans in a welcoming and friendly manner
  • Conduct regular inspections of all patrol and fixed post assignments
  • Write reports; ensuring accuracy of reported data and proper report presentation
  • Maintain secure environment throughout Tribute Communities Centre at all times
  • Act as ambassador for Spectra
  • Inform Fans of seat locations and provide assistance where needed
  • Retrieve and verify Fans’ tickets, as required
  • Direct Fans with special needs/requests to Fan Services
  • Support all departments with security or fan related escalations as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent customer service, client relations, interpersonal and communication skills

Restaurant Server/Bartender - Prospects Bar and Grill - Part Time

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet and assist guests at the restaurant, perform service checks to ensure quality of service and product.
  • Responsible for serving food products to guests in the venue during events.
  • Responsible for serving beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages. Must check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
  • Responsible for recording a guest’s order and relaying the order to the kitchen via P.O.S. system or other.
  • Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests.
  • Responsible for computing the cost of the meal and presenting the guest with the check. Accept payments and provide change as necessary.
  • Recommends certain menu items and identifies ingredients or explains how various items on the menu are prepared.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for keeping the Host and entrance area clean.
  • Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile.
  • Manage table assignment and reservations including wait lists.
  • Ensuring a smooth flow and distribution of guest reservations.
  • Responsible to inform guests regarding waiting time.
  • Escort and seat guests to designated dining table according to their reservations.

  • Work in a fast, safe and efficient manner especially during service times so as to achieve consistently high food quality in a productive and cost effective environment
  • Comply with kitchen procedures, recipe and prep sheets, cleaning schedules and all other duties required to work in an efficient kitchen
  • Maintain efficient stock controlling methods for all kitchen-related products, specifically towards maintaining shelf  life, stock rotating to avoid wastage and spoilage

Suites Runner - Part Time

TITLE:                                  Suites Runner

 

REPORTS TO:                     Director of Suites / Suites Supervisor

 

DEPARTMENT:                   Food and Beverage

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

Event Preparation

Before guests arrive to their suite, each runner must complete the following tasks:

  • Meet in the pantry to receive your pre-order list for the night
  • Have proper menu knowledge to ensure food is presentable and delivered with accurate sides
  • Setup garbage area
  • Deliver ice from the kitchen to the suites with ice scoop
  • Check supply of sauces in walk-in; inform kitchen if more are needed
  • Assist suite hosts and bartenders with setup if needed
  • Read over pre-order delivery list; ask supervisor for clarification if there are any questions
  • Deliver all pre-ordered cold food and sauces to suites

During Event

  • Ensure all condiments and sauces that are provided with each item are available for you to take with the item
  • If you are unsure of what goes with each menu item after verifying the menu, ask your supervisor before delivery to ensure each suite is receiving the correct items
  • Check with kitchen to ensure all pre-orders required for the beginning of first period are ready
  • Ensure suites receiving food are set up appropriately, ready for food to be delivered
  • Check suites to ensure guests have arrived
  • Deliver all pre-orders at the times instructed
  • If there is a delay on an order, communicate it directly to the host (or through a supervisor)
  • Throughout the event, communicate with the kitchen to see if game day orders are waiting to be delivered
  • Each runner will be in charge of a full order and will not be able to split one chit between two runners
  • Do not take a game day order until the entire order is ready
  • Keep all chits for reference when delivering game day orders
  • Deliver stock, and ice to suite hosts and bartenders as requested
  • Keep pantry free of garbage and dirty dishes
  • Return dirty dishes to kitchen throughout event

Event Closure

Runner must complete the following tasks once instructed to begin closing:

  • Collect and return all dirty dishes to kitchen
  • Return extra sauces to restaurant if they can be used for another event
  • Store all empty alcohol bottles in assigned area in warehouse
  • Tidy garbage area and leave garbage bags in hallway to be picked up
  • Sweep and mop garbage area, set up for next event
  • Mop pantry
  • Empty mop buckets, rinse bucket and mop head; store appropriately
  • Sign off on opening and closing check lists, hand in to supervisor
  • Complete any other given tasks from the suite supervisor as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 1 year experience working in similar setting and customer service experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the suites floor.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate the menu items.
  • Smart Serve Certification is an asset.
