Security Personnel Team Member - Part Time

TITLE:                         Security Personnel Team Member

REPORTS TO:          Senior Event Services Manager & Event Services Manager

DEPARTMENT:          Event Services

STATUS:                     Part-Time

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Respond to all security needs and call for services; secure areas of facility for escalated emergency response, if necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service to all patrons and employees
  • Greet all Fans in a welcoming and friendly manner
  • Conduct regular inspections of all patrol and fixed post assignments
  • Write reports; ensuring accuracy of reported data and proper report presentation
  • Maintain secure environment throughout Tribute Communities Centre at all times
  • Act as ambassador for Spectra
  • Inform Fans of seat locations and provide assistance where needed
  • Retrieve and verify Fans’ tickets, as required
  • Direct Fans with special needs/requests to Fan Services
  • Support all departments with security or fan related escalations as required
  • Restrict access to parking lot as directed recognizing authorized passes and utilizing parking lists
  • Be able to move and carry parking barrier
  • Adhere to all  Spectra service standards and policies, including Health and Safety
  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational health and Safety Act
  • Able to pay close attention to detail
  • Work with enthusiasm and professionalism at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of Event Services and affiliated roles & responsibilities
  • Must possess a valid Ontario Security License, as defined by the Private Security and Investigative Services Act.
  • Able to work flexible and sometimes demanding schedules (including: nights, weekends and holidays)
  • Excellent customer service, client relations, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in event related role is an asset
  • Must be accurate and detail oriented
  • Must be physically fit to perform all essential duties/requirements associated with this job
  • Strong knowledge of Alcohol Control Policies in event driven industry is an asset
  • Possess valid Smart Serve Certification
  • Possession of valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certification is an asset

Restaurant Manager - Prospects Bar and Grill - Full Time

Restaurant Server/Bartender - Prospects Bar and Grill - Part Time

TITLE:                               Restaurant Server / Bartender

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet and assist guests at the restaurant, perform service checks to ensure quality of service and product.
  • Responsible for serving food products to guests in the venue during events.
  • Responsible for serving beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages. Must check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
  • Responsible for recording a guest’s order and relaying the order to the kitchen via P.O.S. system or other.
  • Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests.
  • Responsible for computing the cost of the meal and presenting the guest with the check. Accept payments and provide change as necessary.
  • Recommends certain menu items and identifies ingredients or explains how various items on the menu are prepared.
  • Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
  • Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
  • Must be able to perform and complete tasks as required by the management team​

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 year’s experience as a server/bartender with experience working in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Suite Host- Part Time

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Greets FANS in a friendly and courteous manner at the suite

  • Ensure AGCO policies and regulations are followed

  • Prepare food and beverage orders quickly, efficiently and according to standard

  • Inform supervisor of problems in suites area regarding service, equipment or fan complaints

Suites Bartender - Part Time

TITLE:                                  Suites Bartender

REPORTS TO:                    Suites Supervisor

DEPARTMENT:                   Food and Beverage

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet and assist guests in the suites area
  • Ensure entire bar area, including bar top, floors, equipment are clean and set properly before and after bar closes. Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons and servers following standard recipes
  • Ongoing bar maintenance
  • Ensure that bar is stocked as per business requirements, and inventory counts are completed
  • Monitor stock levels, cleanliness of bar and prep areas
  • Monitor drink limit of patrons
  • Serve customers and servers quickly and courteously using proper service techniques and measurements
  • Represent Company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer and employee interactions
  • Follow all rules, policies and procedures in effect for operation under the Provincial Liquor Control Acts
