Dec 13 / 2018

THURSDAY, JANUARY 12, 2017 - Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, the providers of Venue Management and Ticketing & Fan Engagement to the Tribute Communities Centre, are thrilled to announce the winner of the seventh annual Key to the TCC contest presented by KX96, 94.9 The Rock, CKDO Radio and Global Durham. David Sobanski of Oshawa was named this year’s winner, which grants him access to every event in 2019 at the Oshawa, Ontario venue.

“It was no surprise to us that this year's winner was again in complete disbelief when we reached out to him as it's been the history we've seen over the past nine years” expressed William Balfour, Assistant General Manager and Director of Marketing & Group Sales for Spectra at the Tribute Communities Centre. “Once David came in and realized he was the winner, he didn't stop smiling. It’s always great to be able to give back to the fans in the community and this is a great opportunity that allows us to do that each year.”

Spectra launched the contest originally in 2010 and each year it has grown in popularity. Spectra Venue Management has recognized the success of this contest and has since launched the idea in many other markets it provides venue management for.
