TITLE: Call Centre Sales and Service Agent


REPORTS TO:  Ticketing Director, Ticketing Manager and Ticket Office Supervisor

 

ENTITY:  Spectra Venue Management

 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

  • This position will assist in the day-to-day Ticket Office and Call Centre functions and all event related Ticket Office functions

                                     

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Provide an excellent customer service by maintaining the highest degree of courtesy
  • Handle business transactions while maintaining customer goodwill
  • Up-sell and Cross-sell products during both inbound and outbound transactions
  • Utilize a variety of systems and web-based tools to research and resolve customer inquiries
  • Respond with enthusiasm while handling customer questions, complaints and inquiries
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Ticketing Director, Ticketing Manager, or General Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years’ experience in customer service position required
  • Experience working in a Call Centre would be an asset
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts (days, weekends and holidays)
  • Strong communication skills a must
  • Must be accurate and detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent computer and data manipulation skills, including software such as Microsoft Office.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assists in the ticketing operations for the facility.  Helps to ensure that the correct tickets are available for sale at the correct price and that tickets are issued based on instructions provided by the promoter, the Operations Department, the General Manager, and possibly other entities involved in the production of an event.

Durham Central Adult Hockey League Manager

TITLE: Durham Central Adult Hockey League Manager

 

REPORTS TO: Ice Sales & Programming Manager

 

SUPERVISES: Durham Central Adult Hockey League Staff

 

ENTITY:  Spectra

 

STATUS: Full-time

 

SUMMARY:

  • Reporting to Director of Events & Ice Programming and the Ice Programming & Sales Manager. The Durham Central Adult Hockey League Manager is responsible for the operation of the Durham Central Adult Hockey League (DCAHL). This role will focus on the operation of the DCAHL, supervising DCAHL staff, providing customer service, and coordinating ice programming.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversees, manages and markets the Durham Central Adult Hockey League
  • Processing payments on confirmed dates and ensuring permits are paid before rentals are permitted to use the ice
  • Responding to customer inquiries regarding the DCAHL
  • Assist Ice Sales & Programming Manager with the DCAHL budget
  • Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing and website management
  • Obtain nightly staff payouts for the DCAHL
  • Supervise evaluate and hire DCAHL staff
  • Assist with managing the DCAHL teams and players
  • Develop and coordinate ice programming
  • Work together with user groups during tournaments and special events
  • Encourages & facilitates the ongoing development of the DCAHL
  • Complete sales deposit for cash, credit, cheque and debit payments
  • Print DCAHL game sheets, rosters on game nights and ensure all players meet current DCAHL guidelines
  • Ensure accuracy of game information through the use of Gamesheet
  • Communicate important information with team representatives, such as suspensions, upcoming tournaments, parking notices, payment issues and other related concerns/announcements
  • Participates in management and company staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
  • Required to fill in the role of Manager in the absence of the Ice Sales & Programming Manager
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree or diploma in Sports Administration, Recreation & Leisure or a related field
  • Advanced knowledge of hockey and ice programming
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects
  • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proven leadership skills and staff supervision experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of hockey and ice programming
  • Be proficient in using all Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of Intelligenz registration system will be an asset
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, holidays, extended (long) work days with extended number of days

Security Personnel Team Member

TITLE: Security Personnel Team Member

REPORTS TO: Director of Events and Ice Programming & Event Manager

DEPARTMENT: Event Services

STATUS: Part-Time

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Respond to all security needs and call for services; secure areas of facility for escalated emergency response, if necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service to all patrons and employees
  • Greet all Fans in a welcoming and friendly manner
  • Conduct regular inspections of all patrol and fixed post assignments
  • Write reports; ensuring accuracy of reported data and proper report presentation
  • Maintain secure environment throughout Tribute Communities Centre at all times
  • Act as ambassador for Spectra
  • Inform Fans of seat locations and provide assistance where needed
  • Retrieve and verify Fans’ tickets, as required
  • Direct Fans with special needs/requests to Fan Services
  • Support all departments with security or fan related escalations as required
  • Restrict access to parking lot as directed recognizing authorized passes and utilizing parking lists
  • Be able to move and carry parking barrier
  • Adhere to all Spectra service standards and policies, including Health and Safety

  • Maintain efficient stock controlling methods for all kitchen-related products, specifically towards maintaining shelf  life, stock rotating to avoid wastage and spoilage

We are looking for a competent Food expeditor to help keep a smooth workflow between the kitchen and the tables. You will work in a fast-paced environment to get proper orders out faster and more efficiently.

As food expeditor, you must have excellent communication skills and experience in a restaurant’s hectic setting. You must have enough stamina to be in constant motion and skills to coordinate and organize processes and people.

Ensuring the efficient flow of orders from the waiters to the kitchen. Ensuring orders are being prepared with the correct priority. Assisting in the final preparation of dishes.

The goal is to make service faster and better to help enhance our quality and reputation.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Set-up and stock the line so it is ready for and during service
  • Communicate to the back and front of house special requests and modifications
  • Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the waiters to the kitchen
  • Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority
  • Assist in the final preparation of dishes
  • Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature
  • Deliver orders to maintain fast service
  • Eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines or dishwashing
  • Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning
  • Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff
  • Handle complaints from clients to preserve the restaurant’s reputation
