OVG360, operators of the Tribute Communities Centre, is excited to announce the return of Touch-a-Truck after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year's eighth annual Touch-a-Truck event is presented by Campkin's RV Centre and willl be on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 4pm to 8pm in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-West Durham. This free community event will be hosted outside and around the Tribute Communities Centre and is a fun, hands on event that allows children of all ages to get up close and personal with more than 40 vehicles of all shapes and sizes. Children will love the interactive displays and the opportunity to learn about the vehicles from the drivers.
“We are ecstatic to be able to bring this event back to the community and are thrilled that our community partners continue to support and fuel this event year after year,” said William Balfour, Assistant General Manager and Director of Marketing & Sales for OVG360. “We're expecting this year to be the biggest turnout yet and hope that we'll be able to make another sizable donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-West Durham with the assistance of attendees and community partners.”
Although the event is free for the community to attend, OVG360 encourages all attendees to donate what they can afford to Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-West Durham during the event at their booth located by the BBQ area. This year’s event will again satisfy attendee’s taste buds as the OVG360 team fires up the grill to provide a charity BBQ for attendees. Touch-a-Truck is a free event to enter, however certain activities may be subject to a cost such as face painting, BBQ, etc.
Don't forget Kars on King is happening on Friday as well in downtown Oshawa from 3:30pm to 9:30pm!
*We will always make our best efforts to hold the Touch-a-Truck event as scheduled but the event is subject to weather conditions.
