SPECTRA UNLOCKS A CHANCE TO WIN 2 TICKETS TO EVERY EVENT IN 2017 AT THE TRIBUTE COMMUNITIES CENTRE

Nov 14 / 2016

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2016 – Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, the providers of Venue Management and Ticketing & Fan Engagement to the Tribute Communities Centre, are thrilled to launch the seventh annual “Key to the TCC” contest presented by KX96, CKDO Radio and Candz Print Inc. which will grant one lucky fan access to every event in 2017 at the Oshawa venue. The Key to the TCC contest originated in 2010 under the Key to the GMC name and has evolved into a corporate initiative with almost 20 other Spectra-managed venues participating in the Big Ticket Giveaway including the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

“The contest is amazing,” said Phill Dundee, the 2015 winner of the Key to the GMC contest. “I’ve been able to see and attend events I wouldn’t have even considered seeing” which up until now his favourite event has been tied between Jerry Seinfeld and The Tragically Hip.

Numerous events have already been added to the Tribute Communities Centre’s 2017 event calendar including Tim Hicks, Dierks Bentley, Blue Rodeo, Bubble Guppies, Tom Cochrane and Red Rider, Harlem Globetrotters, and Dean Brody. “There are many more events coming to Oshawa in 2017 so fans should keep their eyes opened for more announcements,” stated William Balfour, Spectra’s Director of Marketing and Group Sales at the Tribute Communities Centre. “This contest is always great to award as past winners have always been in a state of disbelief that they won. It is easily our most anticipated giveaway in the venue for our fans and we’re excited to be launching the seventh year!”

“Winning the Key to the GMC was truly amazing and also a real eye opener,” expressed Bob Parr, the winner of the 2011 Key to the GMC contest when it was named to represent the General Motors Centre. “At the time, I had no idea what a great facility it was for every type of event. In my view, the quality of content and talent at the centre in the last five years has grown by leaps and bounds.”

“I never win anything so when Will called me, I was stunned and elated,” said Kim Engel of her “fantastic prize” as the 2014 Key to the GMC contest winner. Engel and her family were able to experience numerous events including The Band Perry, Jason Aldean, Elton John, Hedley, Cirque du Soleil, Oshawa Generals hockey and many other live events at the Tribute Communities Centre.

The Key to the TCC contest, presented by KX96, CKDO Radio, and Candz Print Inc. is running until Friday, December 23, 2016 at 6:00pm ET and fans can learn how to enter at www.tributecommunitiescentre.com/contest along with the full contest rules and regulations.
