Dreams do come true!

 

My daughter and I had the opportunity to attend the Holiday Dreams, A Spectacular Holiday Cirque last night at the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa. With both of us being huge fans of Christmas, I was so excited to spend the evening surrounded in all the magic with my best friend!

 

From beginning to end, the performers had the attention of every audience member - young to old and everyone in between. The opening act introduced all performers in a magical skit that had us laughing, clapping and smiling ear to ear. The little silly elf was my daughter’s favourite as he was able to keep the arena upbeat and entertaining.  

 

 

The performance from the very talented acrobats were my favorite. The beautiful candy cane ballerina who did tricks suspended in the air by a harness and at one point by her hair took my breath away. The story line was outstanding. 

 

 

 

It was fun to have the audience take part in some of the magic tricks including a very adorable little girl. When asked where she was from, she said Canada!
 

 

The whole atmosphere in the arena was phenomenal from techno-style Christmas songs to flashing lights and fantastic performers, I would recommend anyone and everyone to go see this spectacular show.

 

We enjoyed every single part and were on the edge of our seats when the BMX, scooter and roller blading elves came out to show us some tricks and we can’t forget the bouncing elf on the huge trampoline. 
 

 

The shows final skit ended with the true meaning of the holidays like they said regardless if you say “Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays” remember those in need and give love and support where you can! These final words had my daughter talking all the way home about how important it is to be kind and respectful to everyone because you never know what someone might be going through and a simple kind act could make their whole day!
